DCUK Improvers Workshop for Recreational Riders
Elms Farm Equestrian Centre on Monday 5th October, 6pm
FREE unmounted workshop - Supporting Help for Heroes
Perfect for recreational riders wanting to improve with walk/trot, intro, prelim or novice test Working with DCUK's Julie Frizzell, plus experienced rider Julie Cooper (riding a prelim test), a BD judge and have the benefit of being able to discuss those issues you always wanted to know about but never get the chance to ask!
Welcome and short intro at 6pm Watch the test being ridden, have a FULL judge’s commentary during the test, hear it being scored and hear the marks. Be part of the debrief of the rider by coach and trainer Julie, and then by the BD Judge. Hear what needs to be done, how, why, where and when, to improve the test. Hear from the rider, have the chance to discuss any element of the test/feedback/comments/marks etc with the trainer, judge and rider. Watch the test being ridden again and (fingers crossed!) see the improvement. We hope to follow this FREE workshop with discounted sessions at Elms Farm EC following the same lines but with you bringing your horse (or booking one of Elms Farm EC horses) and having the benefit of the same feedback without the pressure of competing. This workshop is perfect for recreational riders who want to improve their Walk Trot/Intro test, prelim performance or novice test. We can also happily cater for Para-equestrian tests for all Para Grades.
Places are limited so please book early to ensure your slot.
To book, please email Julie at Julie@dressagecoaching.co.uk, or text 07932822945 with the Subject Heading 'Improvers Workshop'. Please provide the name, contact number, email address for each person requiring a place.
Also, in recognition of our brave Servicemen and women we’d welcome any donation during the evening for Help for Heroes (Charity Number1120920)
| Julie is available for coaching sessions and clinics at any time to suit you, either at your home/yard or with us. Julie also uses a top of the range microphone and speaker ... so you can hear her even in the wind when you're cantering away from her! ELMS FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE - Fortnightly Mondays - Clinics at Elms Farm Equestrian Centre. £25 for 35 mins or £30 for 45 mins. Private coaching sessions but capacity for pairs (or friends!) to join in a session and bring the costs down... for a joint session (and you don't need to be of the same standard, Julie can cater for both abilities in the same session) we recommend the 45 min session for £17.50 each. Superb facilities, a friendly welcome and lots of space to work in. Cost is only £25 for 30/35 minutes but please warm up first to maximise your session - each horse takes a different time to warm up and its often not ideal to be paying your trainers time whilst your horse is still warming up. Please book through Trudy on 01400 272275 - times will be available both during the day and early evening so that everyone has the chance to come along. Or email Trudy at trudy@elmsfarmequestrian.com or see www.elmsfarmequestrian.comWhether its pure flatwork, jumping for dressage or dressage for jumping... we can give you exactly what you want. |
