Dressage Coaching UK, founded and run by Julie Frizzell, specialises in training, coaching and developing grass roots riders, in other words, like minded people who ride and enjoy their horses for pleasure.

Through DCUK and our well-respected partners,  Julie strives to help all riders and their horses put a smile into schooling.

Julie is a retired RAF wing commander of 21 years service, who now splits her time between leadership and management consultancy and running DCUK.  She is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a consultant associate of a Lincolnshire based business solutions company.  

Our Mission

To guide, train, develop and coach grass roots riders from any background, whether able-bodied or disabled to achieve more from their riding and give them the important first step up on the dressage ladder.

Company Overview

A unique, personalised approach to the training, development and coaching of specifically grass roots riders (those who ride for pleasure, but there again, Julie also trains some who ride for  a living) has established Julie, through DCUK, as one of the most effective flatwork trainers/coaches for aspiring walk/trot/prelim to affiliated medium level riders & trainers.

Having trained more than 350 riders, the successes are endless but, importantly, what counts is that individuals' ambitions are always our priority.

By combining an exceptionally strong professional background in HR, strategic business management, leadership and training with a genuine love for developing horses and riders you really do get the best of both worlds - a real people person and a people person who can help you help your horse!
